Inter-American Development Bank, Compete Caribbean Program – Enterprise Innovation Challenge Fund 

Provided strategic planning and business development services to the Inter-American Development Bank’s Compete Caribbean Program.

Compete Caribbean is a private sector development program that provides technical assistance grants and investment funding to support productive development policies, business climate reforms, clustering initiatives and Small and Medium Size Enterprise (SME) development activities in the Caribbean region.

Worked with a consumer products company to conceptualize, develop and write a business plan to submit for funding consideration to the Compete Caribbean’s Enterprise Innovation Challenge Fund (EICF).

The EICF is a competitive mechanism to provide financial support (through non-reimbursable grants) to the Caribbean private sector to pursue innovative projects in the region.

The Fund’s Innovation Window provides funding to firms and entrepreneurs to take a chance on an innovative, risky business idea in an attempt to improve the revenue performance and competitiveness of the firm.
