Led the design and execution of  a 12 month communications, public education and information dissemination campaign for an IDB funded programme entitled “Developing Design Concepts for Climate Change Resilient Buildings” designed to assess climate-change related risks and help increase resilience in the building stock of Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.

Key elements included

  • -identifying and collaborating with strategic partners to disseminate project information;
  • -developing a Speakers Bureau using project technical experts;
  • -developing a project brand (‘Build Better Jamaica’);
  • -documenting project activities (photography and videography);
  • -designing and managing a project website and blog;
  • -creating and maintaining a social media campaign (via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Slide Share);
  • -developing and executing an advertising campaign (print media);
  • -implementing a public relations programme which included writing and disseminating regular press releases and coordinating media appearances for project spokespersons;
  • -developing a range of knowledge products and promotional materials (one page fliers, brochures, booklets, government briefings, power point presentations);
  • -planning and executing a variety of workshops and training programmes for practitioners in the built environment to share the project research and proposals.
